To set the timer recording:
(a) Turn your TV on to the proper channel or input for your VCR.
(b) Place a VHS tape, with the safety tab attached, into the VCR. If the VCR is off, this will turn it on automatically.
(c) Press the VCR or TV/VCR button on your remote to make sure the VCR is in “VCR” mode.
(d) Make sure the time and date is set correctly.
(e) Press the Program or PROG button on your VCR’s remote control.
(f) Select PROGRAM or TIMER PROGRAM from the menu screen.
(g) Set the date, channel, start and end time for the program you wish to record.
(h) Once the information is set correctly, press the PROG button on your remote control.
(i) Press both TIMER buttons on your remote control to set the VCR to record at the set time.
