(TAIS) introduces the Satellite® 5005-S504 notebook, a sleek metallic blue mobile PC with a suite of multimedia features for both work and play. Featuring the new Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition operating software, the Satellite 5005-S504 is targeted to the small office/home office (SOHO) user and students alike, delivering a rich combination of graphics capabilities, stereo sound and expandability for only $2,099. Powered by the NVIDIA® GeForce2 GoÔ graphics processor unit with 16MB of DDR video memory, users can experience desktop graphics performance, ideal for presentations and playing graphic-intensive computer games. Enhancing the user's movie and music experience via the integrated DVD-ROM/CD-RW multi-function drive, the Satellite 5005-S504 comes fitted with an internal Harman/Kardon® sound system and built-in subwoofer for rich stereo-sound performance. For increased expandability, the Satellite 3000/3005 Series features three USB ports, built-in i.Link (IEEE 1394) port and SmartMedia card slot for additional peripheral connections. With an integrated 10/100 Ethernet port and V.90 modem, the Satellite 3000/3005 Series is the ideal mobile office. Pricing starts at $1,699.
Satellite 1800/1805 Series Toshiba's entry notebook line, the Satellite 1800/1805 Series features powerful performance features designed for students and families. Starting at just $1,199, customers receive high-end features with processing power beginning at 1GHz, a DVD-ROM drive, large TFT displays up to 15 inches and 256MB of system memory to run intensive software applications. For fast Internet connection, the Satellite 1800/1805 Series features both an integrated V.90modem and 10/100 Ethernet port.
